Developer – Permanent – Hybrid – Edinbur gh

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Developer to work for a large organisation in Edinburgh. You will provide technical analysis, development and support of solutions across the organisations systems and applications. This includes working on IT change projects, contributing to continuous service improvement, and providing helpdesk support to ensure the resolution of issues and concerns with day-to-day service delivery

Essential skills:

  • Current or recent experience of the full development life cycle.
  • Current or recent experience in the customisation and maintenance of a software application
  • Current or recent experience in the customisation and maintenance of at least one of the following:
  • Integrations and Business Intelligence platforms, including ETL and data warehousing
  • Billing systems development
  • Work experience in an IT projects role, delivering to business and technical management teams both as a developer and in a development co-ordination role

    • This is a great opportunity for a recently qualified developer with some commercial experience gain further experience in:

  • Carrying out estimation of development work for project management and costing purposes.

  • Unit and system testing
