Are you a Food and Nutrition Teacher looking for an Outstanding school and opportunity, you will join a progressive department who are looking to continue their upward trajectory with results achieved. We are looking for a Food and Nutrition Teacher to start in January to cover a maternity. To deliver AQA Food Preparation & Nutrition GCSE with two groups in Year 10 and one group in Year 11. Year 11 are due to begin NEA2 element of the course from January 2023. Food & Nutrition lessons at KS3 follow the national curriculum and AQA FP&N specification. KS3 Food is taught in Year 7, 8 and 9.

 Ideally will be:-

  • Experienced in teaching Food Technology, AQA Curriculum
  • Able to show some real creativity and a love of your subject
  • ECT or QTS
  • Able to deal with both high and low ability students
  • Abe to plan, mark and deliver their own lessons
  • Able to respond to behaviour effectively 
  • Make lessons fun, creative and useful for life beyond the school gates
  • Creative get the pupils involved with projects they drive themselves
  •
