An exciting opportunity for a permanent Staff Nurse post has arisen within the Primary Care Mental Health Team in East Ayrshire. 
You will join a multidisciplinary team which provides assessment and treatment to individuals experiencing common mental health problems.
You will have a registered professional qualification with the NMC, and have experience in mental health assessment and care planning with an interest in working with patients with mental health problems in the community setting. 
You will gain experience in working with clients with mild/moderate mental health problems using mental health and psychological interventions and should be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and have effective communication and liaison skills.

Experience of working within a Community setting is desirable and a good knowledge base with regards to Primary Care Mental Health clinical issues and psychological interventions is advantageous. 
You will be responsible for a caseload of service users working in partnership with local authorities, service users and voluntary groups to support and underpin a seamless patient journey through the healthcare system to maintain consistently high standards of service delivery and patient care in a climate of change and redesign.

Car owner/driver is essential.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, over 5 days, Monday-Friday
