We make promises to our customers, and we’ll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;

  • To assist maintainenance and monitoring of the terms and conditions of the HMRC Excise and/or Customs Warehouse approval for one site
  • To assist in ensuring the integrity of the stock and duty processes for Tax and Duty purposes
  • To support the Bond Manager in implementing compliance procedures and in protecting DHL’s HMRC compliance profile
  • Submission of timely and accurate duty returns to HMRC in Bond Manager’s absence
  • Assist resolution of exceptions and errors in the approved manner as directed
  • Develop a sound functional awareness of the HMRC legislation applicable to the role
  • Engage in and support the Bond Management peer network

  • Experience of operational process and controls
  • Experience and Knowledge in HMRC legislation -Desirable
  • Previous experience in complaisance – Desirable
  • Stock management – Desirable
  • Other excise or customs experience, or other regulatory compliance- Desirable
  • Solid numeracy
  • Experience standard operating procedures (SOP) – Desirable
  • Experience in Warehouse Management systems (WMS/DMS / Redprairie )
