They are currently recruiting for a Head of HR on a fixed term contract for 6 – 9 months. Based in their officer near Vauxhall 3 days per week with the option of 2 days hybrid working days.
Their aim is to fight global poverty and to be considered for the position you will have a proven track record as a Head of HR. As well as experience of leading on a new EDI strategy.
Paying £58,900 per annum
Role
You will provide leadership on all areas of HR, Payroll, Learning and Development and Gender, Diversity and Inclusion, including best practice and workforce development
Duties
Lead the development of people-related strategies and ensure strategic workforce planning and change management is in alignment with the overall strategy.
Work as a strategic business partner with the leadership team translating business requirements into effective HR practises
Provide positive leadership and development for the HR team
Produce and drive the people management strategy in line with the strategy, including the creation of a Gender, Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing plan aligning with company values, business strategy and commitments.
As a member of the CIUK leadership team, ensure organisational objectives are met through collaborative working
Ensure there is a strong framework of policies, procedures and support to managers, to ensure the organisation follows best practice and meets it legal obligations throughout employee lifecycle
Make recommendations to SMT on key policy changes, and complex HR issues
Maintain good working relationships with trade union and staff representatives;
Develop, coach and advise managers on complex aspects of people and performance management including recruitment, capability, disciplinary and grievance issues and absence management
Manage the delivery of the two yearly staff survey,
To ensure that the human resources records are managed effectively in line with the People Strategy and compliant with GDPR legislation.
Manage the salaries, grading & benefits proposition to ensure the adoption of best practice and alignment to the strategic objectives of the organisation as well as current regulations
Lead on pay negotiations with the union representatives
Oversee and manage the Learning and Development provision for the organisation
