Axcis Education are currently looking for a SEND teaching assistant to start ASAP in a mainstream primary school in the Sandwell area.You will be working with a reception class, working on a 1-to-1 or 2-to-1 basis, dependent on the needs of the children in the classroom on each given day, alongside the other classroom TA.You will be supporting three pupils in the class alongside another TA, the children have a variety of needs, including autism, communication and have speech and language needs.This role will be working Monday to Friday, 08:30 till 3:30.This role will involve supporting the child as part of a small class size. You will be required to have;- Previous school-based experience is preferred; however, the school are open to applicants who have transferrable experience through personal or other work experiences such as support, care, and other transferrable skilled work.- A caring and passionate nature- An enhanced DBS is required to start work.
