Protocol Education are currently looking to recruit an Administrator to work with a school in the Sheffield area for a full-time role on a long-term basis to start in January (or sooner if possible).

Whether you have experience doing admin in a school setting, in an office or are a recent graduate looking to work in a non-teaching capacity within a school, this role could be perfect for you!

The Role:

Working as part of a tight-knit, friendly team of School Administrators you will be responsible for:

  • Welcoming visitors to the school and helping with their enquiries
  • Administration relating to pupil attendance
  • Managing emails
  • Using the schools IT systems to draft letters, emails, reports & newsletters
  • Monitoring school supplies
  • Assisting with the keeping of financial records
  • Answering the phone and assisting where appropriate
  • Assisting with marketing projects
  • And many other day-to-day activities to assist with the smooth running of the school

This is a busy role that has the potential to lead into may other non-teaching roles within the school.

The Successful Candidate:

To be right for this role you maybe an experienced Administrator from a school background or a recent Graduate eager to get your first non-teaching role within a school. In addition, you will poses the following skills and attributes:

  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Be methodical and well-organised
  • Have a good attention to detail
  • Have good ICT skills
  • Be relatable with the ability to get on well with pupils, Teachers, and parents.
  • Be flexible and open to change
  • Want to work in a fun and vibrant office in a role that is constantly changing.
