About the role- Autism Learning Support Assistant
We are currently looking for Learning Support Assistants with Autism experience who can hit the ground running in this Autism Specialist Provision. They want some one who is bubbly and outgoing who will get stuck in from day 1 and use their initiative. You will be working with students with Autism of varying levels so prior knowledge and experience with this group is necessary for this role. Your role will include classroom support, lesson set up and tidy away, modelling positive behaviours and assisting with student engagement.
About the school
This is a large secondary school for students aged 11-18 years old with one of the largest Autism provisions in Europe. The school is focused on inclusivity across their students and staff teams and believe that every student has the ability to achieve excellent regardless of background, ability or any other factors. The school is based in Barnet and has parking onsite for applicants who drive.
