The majority of this role is spent in the grounds undertaking gardening tasks and ground
maintenance. You are responsible for securing the premise by 6pm daily, MondayFriday. There are other portering/handyman duties within the role, however these are not daily tasks.
Whilst over the year this will be 17.5 hours per week, this is an annualised contract with less of the hours being worked in the winter months and increased hours in summer. In the winter months securing of the premises and ad hoc tasks within the premises will be carried out in shorter hours later in the evening until 6pm. Hours worked will be paid on a monthly basis.
There may be opportunity to work additional hours at Lady Margaret Hospital in Millport.
Due to the nature of the contract, this post is likely to be attractive to a local person as some winter weeks, hours could be from 4:30pm-6pm only.
