    Job Description

    You will need a flexible approach as the ability to work across a range of areas within the management accounts is a must, as well as a strong background in Salary Reporting and Analysis, as this is a core part of the role.

    Payroll Analyst responsibilities will include:

  • Monthly reporting tasks impacting multiple entities within the Group
  • Review of Payroll reports to ensure accuracy of processing
  • Processing of Payroll Journals, allocating costs to correct entities & Divisions
  • Reporting of salary data comparing actuals to budget
  • Produce and take ownership of Balance Sheet reconciliations and investigation of balances when required
  • Responsible for posting accounting journals, including Accruals, Prepayments
  • Variance analysis budget vs actual
  • Participate in the year-end audit process & prepare ad-hoc financial reports
  • The Successful Applicant

    The candidates will have:

  • Experience within Management Accounts, or supporting the Finance Manager – Desirable
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills – Required
  • Good working knowledge of reporting standards, Payroll, Salary reporting/analysis and Profit & Loss reporting/analysis – Required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – Required
  • Experience of an ERP system – Desirable
