As a Back-Office Customer Service Representative, you’ll be responsible for the behind-the-scenes processing service of TfL’s Scrappage Scheme system. You’ll look after all web and email-based customer enquiries, such as queries, appeals, complaints and other back office activities. Shifts for these roles will be between Monday-Friday 8am-6pm. What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide excellent written customer service
  • Ensure all responses are clear, concise and accurate
  • Liaise with third party agencies where required
  • Work within a target driven environment and adhere to quality and productivity targets
  • Make quick, timely decisions in a confident manner
  • Adhere to all Capita policies and procedures

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good computer skills, including email, Microsoft Word and knowledge-based applications
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, while maintaining a high-quality response
  • A ‘can-do’ approach; being able to work under your own initiative and within a team
  • A talent for learning quickly
  • Previous customer service experience
