We are pleased to advertised this post entailing psychology provision into the Swansea Bay University Health Board Cardiac Rehabilitation service. We are offering this as a band 7-8a preceptorship opportunity and will appoint in accordance with the applicant’s level of experience.
The service is keen to have psychology in post to enable the psychologist to offer staff consultation, advice, teaching, training and support in relation to meeting the psychological needs of individuals in receipt of cardiac rehabilitation. There is the opportunity for direct psychological work with people presenting with multifactorial needs including individuals coping with the implications of the trauma of having experienced a cardiac event.
The individual would be joining an enthusiastic Multi Disciplinary Team and wide network of psychology support across Swansea Bay. The Psychology network affords opportunities for consultation , support and supervision from multiple specialties. The network is closely aligned with academic and training institutions that provide the opportunity for trainees, and students on placement.
