Position: IT Business Analyst
Location: Fully Remote
Salary: £40k to £50k dependant upon experience

Robert Half Technology are currently recruiting for a IT Business Analyst for a fantastic global educational company .
This is a critical role within the organization reporting directly to the Head of IT. The current project is implementing a Global integration platform – knowledge of API & Integration would be ideal.
Overseeing all stages of project lifecycles from design, testing, implementation and the handover to operational teams, you will play a lead role and work closely with technical teams using waterfall and agile methodologies.Understand commercial drivers and business strategy to ensure appropriate project prioritisation
Work with stakeholders to establish how best to implement strategy using the existing system, or identifying required change, contributing to functional strategy.
You will actively identify emerging trends and share best practice across the division, allowing Navitas to take advantage of new technologies that enable the delivery of digital excellence.
Contribute and to assist stakeholders in the production of any required documentation; including, but not exclusively, Requirements, Business Cases, Project Initiation, Project Plans, Handover to BAU, Lessons Learned reviews and Management Reports.
You will be responsible for managing and refining product change requests, requiring both astute business analysis and advanced communication skills. They will liaise with key business stakeholders and provide support, advice, and guidance.
Analyse changes required to existing business processes to implement and maintain Navigate modules. Outline proposed processes, rationale for changes, training requirements, estimated timelines for implementation, testing strategy and priorities
Identify alternative approaches to address issues and take advantage of improvement opportunities. Work with team members to understand potential impact to other system modules and related processes. Validate selected approach with the affected end user community. Document as-is and to-be business process mapping.
If necessary, develop Change Request documents outlining proposed changes, rationale for and associated benefits of such changes, description of solution and why it was selected over other options for delivery to the Change Advisory Board for assessment and possible approval.
Serve as an advocate for Navigate as well as for improved integration and business process reengineering to address out-dated, ineffective, or inefficient business processes with the user community

Excellent business analytical skills and troubleshooting skills
Project management experience
Ability to analyse and assess the functional needs of the business units, documenting business process, gap analysis and change requirements where required
Ability to work independently, with outstanding communication skills
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally
Ability to travel when required
Familiar with modern Learning and Teaching administration mechanisms
System implementation experience
Note that due to the nature of this role, some out-of-hours work will be required, and flexibility is essential.
