Team Manager
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Salary: Circa £27,000 per annum plus a joining bonus of £500 (upon successful completion of probationary period)
Community based – FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE AND OWN VEHICLE ESSENTIAL

The Job:

As Team Manager you will lead the Wellbeing and Recovery Service covering Hinckley, Bosworth and North West Leicestershire. The service is open to anyone aged 18+ who is experiencing emotional and mental health problems, as well as their carers. The aim being to support individuals to maintain and improve their emotional and mental wellbeing, empower them to achieve their goals and to live a meaningful life. This is an exciting opportunity to work within an enthusiastic and dedicated team, providing essential support to people experiencing difficulties with their mental health.

Key Responsibilities and duties will include:

” Working across a community based mental health setting with the mental health team

” Responsible for managing a high quality, recovery focused service to our clients who have a range of mental health difficulties as well as other support needs including learning disabilities, physical health issues and substance misuse

” Promoting independence and social inclusion

” Inspire, engage and motivate people

” Identify barriers, understand need and support people to achieve their goals

” One to one engagement, facilitating activities within the service and community, administrative tasks, sign posting and engaging people in other provision

” Leading a team of Recovery Workers, you will work alongside your partners in primary care, secondary care, local authorities, social care and voluntary and community sector providers to deliver the best person-centred care for service users to support their recovery

Skills & Experience requirements:

” Experience of working with mental health, be able to inspire and engage people, with the ability to identify barriers and understand client needs, while possessing excellent motivational skills. This will include one to one engagement and facilitating group-based activities, sign posting and engaging people in mainstream provision.

” An understanding of working with people with a variety of complex needs and be able demonstrate your ability to prioritise caseloads and have an understanding of the principles of The Care Act and Mental Health Act

” Experience within a similar community based service

” Experience of leading, managing, coaching and mentoring colleagues and have excellent communication and internal skills

” Hold a Level 4 Diploma in Management, or an equivalent subject and be willing to develop further as the role requires.

” Due to the nature of the post, a full driving license and access to transport is essential.
