Our client, a fantastic organisations based near Attleborough, are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their team to cover maternity leave for 12 months. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is available at short notice and enjoys working as part of a close knit team.


Reporting to the Head of Finance the key responsibilities are to:


– Prepare timely and accurate Management Accounts with analysis, supported by balance sheet and bank reconciliations

– Issue and review the Management Accounts with CEO and heads of department

– Assist CFO in preparing monthly report to issue to trustees

– Sales/Purchase Ledger – oversee Purchase/Sales Ledgers and Cashiers (3 direct reports).

– Ensure fixed asset register is recorded accurately each year, with copy invoices retained as necessary.

– Issue monthly capex report

– Ensure that stock control monitoring is properly carried out and reconciled.

– Assist Head of Finance with yearend audit, liaising with auditors, preparing draft financial statements and audit file documentation

– Treasury – Take responsibility and support accounts team with payments/cheque runs, BACS processing and weekly bank transfers.

– Provide weekly KPI reports


Key skills and experience required:


– Relevant accounting qualification. (ACCA, CIMA or AAT)

– Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.

– Great communicator both written and spoken.
