The AFV Crew Member role is based within our Defence Training business area.

The difference our new AFV Crew Member will make
As an AFV Crew Member, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Supporting a small, dedicated team, working directly with the Gunnery School and the Defence Support Group at the Armour Centre on the Bovington site.

Day to day, you’ll be providing maintenance and driving support on Main Battle Tanks, Warrior Infantry and Reconnaissance Fighting vehicles, as well as some Wheeled AFVs (Armoured Fighting Vehicles).

Essential experience

* You will be fit and able bodied for manual handling tasks and comfortable working at heights
* Driving licence Category B
* Driving licence Category C
* Category H licence is desirable
* Military background preferred
* You must hold or have ability to obtain SC security clearance
