A new Accounts Assistant is required to join a fantastic client of ours who operate in retail of food and beverages. This is a vital role within the business where you will play a pivotal part in supporting the finance function and reporting to the Head of Finance on a day-to-day basis.

The Role

In this Accounts Assistant role you will be responsible for:

  • Entering customer orders and preparing invoices
  • Entering supplier invoices to be authorised for payment
  • Monthly stock reconciliation
  • Updating alcohol excise submission sheet
  • Updating internal costs tracker for each client, including event cost reconciliation
  • Reconciling e-commerce payment accounts PayPal
  • Preparing missing receipts report
  • Preparing staff expenses for payment
  • Reconciling credit card statements
  • Assisting the Head of Finance with ad-hoc administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
  • On-boarding new suppliers and customers and carrying out relevant due diligence
  • Updating product information and pricing in accounting software

    Salary & Benefits

    This Accounts Assistant role will pay between £24,000 – £32,000 per annum, as well as offer 24 Days Holiday (+ Bank), NEST Pension, Staff Discounts + Further Benefits
