I am currently recruiting for an experienced Food & Beverage manager for a 6 month period with the potential to be extended. This role is to lead and manage the catering Food & Beverage Team ensuring a high performing service is delivered, quality of food & customer service is exemplary and standards of hygiene are met in full.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the food and beverage team and service provision to deliver exceptional customer service
  • To assist in recruitment, interviewing and selection of all catering staff, providing on the job training and instructions
  • Manage the day to day catering operations working closely with the head chef, monitoring the quality food and service, ensure standards of hygiene are managed, statutory obligation are met in full ad ensure the service is of high standard
  • Manage and create catering assistants staff rotas, plan, coordinate abstractions to ensure sufficient cover is provided and maintained.
  • Leading on customer feedback for the catering service, liaising closely with customers and actively seeking customer feedback through a variety of channels including surveys and customer forums.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to manage stock and food Inventory
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure quality and key performance indicators are adhered to and ensure light catering supplies are managed and monitored.
  • Delivery of the day to day service
  • Ensure the service for hospitality events/meetings, and food for operational off-site events is managed and all demands are met
  • Promote and support the marketing and communication plan to advertise the catering service, target audiences utilising the brand and goals of the service.
  • Support in ensuring all IT promotional solutions are maintained and the service develops a reputation for high quality, strong customer service, varied menus choices and tasty dishes.
  • Support in the delivering a Quality Control system for all elements of catering, to include health and safety, food safety and food hygiene regulations, performance, staff competence and improvement methods.
  • Ensure all staff are trained and competent in their role.
  • Experience:

  • Level 3 Food hygiene certificate is similarly necessary for the role.
  • Food Safety management experience is a must-have for any applicant
  • Applicants must have experience of managing a catering team
