The THV clinical organization is a multi-functional team supporting the product development lifecycle through groundbreaking clinical trial design and execution from first in man through post market surveillance, leading clinical evidence in THV worldwide.
The Physician Training Meeting and Events Specialist will partner with all levels of Medical Affairs Physician Training team and other related functions across Edwards to help develop and collaborate with the execution of educational programs for health care providers with Senior Physician Training Specialists. This role is remote, with up to 25-30% travel nationwide for events.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of all aspects of training events: Registration, documentation management and logistical support
Create and maintain various templates (, registration websites, attendee management). Identify solutions based on our business needs.
Utilize event technology requirements (SFDC, CVENT, Docebo) on projects to establish the project deliverables and develop the project management plan, and manages changes to the project scope, schedule, and cost
Support process for maintaining an audit ready environment of all aspects of documentation and event planning expenses.
Maintain and launch various programming (CVENT,SFDC, Docebo) based on stakeholder needs assessments, establish reporting cadence per program as needed.
Create and maintain various templates (, registration websites, attendee management, budget, request forms, etc.). Partner with third party vendors to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions based on our business needs.
Collaborate in advancing compliant external ( customer facing) training materials and programs (, Fundamentals, speaker programs, proctor webcasts) in collaboration with team members
Establish relationships with cross-functional teams, external vendors, training faculty members, and key KOL physicians to maintain, develop, execute programming
Act as a resource to HCPs, facilitate all aspects of HCP engagement requirements ( compliant expense management, travel etc.)
Education and Experience:
Preferred Experience in project management, meeting execution and marketing.
Healthcare industry knowledge preferred.
Additional Skills:
Good organizational and project management skills
Experience working in Medical Education, sales, marketing, or healthcare industry preferred
Proven expertise in MS Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills
Good problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills
Solid knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to strategic event planning
Solid knowledge of regulatory and AdvaMed requirements
Strict attention to detail
Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
Must be able to work in a team environment with global marketing team and cross functional partners
Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships
