Summary of the Executive Support Administrator role

As the Executive Support Administrator, you will be a friendly and confident communicator with a strong administrative background.

Reporting directly to the Executive Assistant, the main purpose of your role will be to coordinate travel arrangements for customers and employees within Sterling.

Based at our site in Cramlington, Northumberland you will ideally work Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.

Your responsibilities

  • Overseeing the overall travel arrangements for employees, by liaising with our travel booking company.
  • Processing all travel documentation such as visas, ESTAs, etc.
  • Providing administrative support to the commercial teams, whilst working closely with the Executive Assistant.
  • Delivering excellent service to our customers and visitors by providing meeting room bookings, catering requests and ground transportation as required.
  • Assisting with the coordination of offsite activities for employees and customers.
  • Reviewing orders and logging invoices on relevant computer systems such as SAP.
  • Maintaining travel schedules and ensuring calendars are up to date.

Requirements for the role

  • Knowledge and experience within a similar role preferred.
  • Strong administrative skills are an integral part of this role.
  • Comfortable and confident with people at all levels and can be assertive where necessary.
  • Occasional travel is expected to a degree within this role, so flexibility is essential.
  • Calendar Management/MS Teams experience would be advantageous.
  • Effectively able to manage a high workload whilst maintaining organisation in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
