Accountancy Practice – Accounts Senior – Sale
Your new firm
You will be joining a well established and highly regarded firm of chartered accountants. The firm offer a range of services to their varied client base, inclusive of audit, accounts, tax planning and payroll and they are now looking to add an additional Accounts Senior to the successful team following a period of sustained growth.
Your new role
As an Accounts Senior at this firm you will be responsible for your own portfolio of clients, made up of limited companies, sole traders and partnerships. You will be required to delegate work to junior team members and review their work once completed alongside preparing statutory accounts and when necessary offering business advice to your clients. This role will also see you undertake corporate tax compliance work and occasionally get involved in tax planning.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you must have worked within an accountancy practice recently for at least 4 years and you will ideally be ACA/ ACCA qualified. Those who are qualified by experience or are a finalist will also be considered. This role is relatively autonomous so the ability to work efficiently on your own to deadlines is imperative, as are good communication skills as you will liaise with clients on a daily basis.
What you’ll get in return
In return the firm are able to offer a competitive salary of between £30,000 – £40,000 depending on your prior experience. You will also be entitled to 25 days holiday + bank holidays and be enrolled onto the firms pension scheme. Parking is available and the firm are located close to the metrolink for those commuting via public transport. Study for those in the final stages of their qualification can also be provided.
