Durham University looking for Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners to join the team helping support university students. If you are looking for a challenging yet rewarding role this could be perfect for you.
Reactive and proactive service provisions with others to deliver an excellent stakeholder experience.
Relationship building internally and externally to build and update knowledge and skills
Implement and monitor protocols, procedures, processes and regulations
Manage a caseload of student and staff clients comprising therapeutic consultations
Ongoing psychological interventions and flexible follow-up and support arrangements
Working at least 3 days per week 8-5
Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (completed BPS accredited PWP training course)
Counsellor or Mental Health Practitioner
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships, both internally and externally.
Proven IT skills, including use of
Five GCSE’s at least Grade C or level four (or equivalent) including English, Language and Mathematics (or equivalent experience).
Post-16 qualification or equivalent experience.
Either a qualified PWP who has completed a BPS accredited PWP training course, or a practitioner with counselling, psychotherapy or other mental health qualification to diploma or
