Employability & Skills Coach Permanent Hastings based, with home working and travel Here at Howells we are working with a leading national Housing Association to recruit an Employability & Skills coach to join their team in the South. Working within the Tenancy Sustainment team, you will assist residents with any welfare and employability coaching they need in order to sustain the terms of their tenancy. Residents will be referred to you for support from Housing Officers or self referral. When a resident is referred to you, you will set a required successful outcome / goal to close the case. Action required could include: employability skills (CV Writing, job applications, interview preparation); debt advice and resolution; benefit applications and referrals. With the current cost of living crisis the team are experiencing a high level of referrals so it will be a busy job! Your office base will be Hastings, however you will manage your own diary and spend your time either in the office, working from home, or travelling to residents homes. A lot of your meetings can be held via teams where possible to reduce travel, however you do need a driving license and own car. As part of the Southern Team, further afield travel may be required to cover other team members during busy/holiday periods, or to attend meetings.
