IT Manager/ Systems Administrator – Specialist E-Commerce – Remote/ Hybrid Working

We’re looking for an experienced IT Manager or Systems Administrator (dependent on experience) to oversee our day-to-day IT operations as well as working on IT projects. You will have a varied role supporting the Head of Digital with a wide range of projects and initiatives.

What will I be doing?

You will overseeing the complete IT operations for the business. With multiple remote sites you will be responsible for all the IT systems and devices that allow our teams to operate efficiently. With a hybrid infrastructure you will maintain servers and cloud services with all the associated security and backups, as well as working on projects to improve the systems. You will work closely with our Head of Digital and our IT support company.


  • Supporting users by fixing common issues via phone, email & tickets
  • Server administration, both physical and virtual
  • Installing and configuring software and hardware
  • Setting up new accounts, workstations & mobile devices
  • Managing backup solutions and ensuring machines are kept updated
  • Maintaining technical documentation
  • Phone system management

  • Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills. Able to communicate at different levels
  • Resourceful, problem-solving, can-do attitude
  • Background in a Microsoft environment – AD, File shares, 365 administration, Virtual Machines, Server 2019, Webserver – IIS
  • Understanding of networks – switches, fibre connections, Wi-Fi etc. Can troubleshoot issues and outages
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel & Outlook to effectively help users
  • Ability to work well as part of a small team & independently
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately to deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate project coordination and have the vision to implement new technology
  • Would be an advantage

  • Experience with firewall solutions such as FortiGate
  • Comfortable managing SQL databases/ SQL Server
  • £45,000 – £50,000 + Annual Bonus & Benefits

    Remote Working with occasional central London site visits
