  • Compliance & on-boarding Assistant (AML)

  • Job Role:

  • Carry out on-boarding procedures for new clients
  • Liaise with partners and new clients to obtain documentation for ID verification
  • Carry out anti-money laundering checks using software and interpret the results
  • Liaise with in-house compliance dept on any AML issues arising
  • Day to day use of documents and excel spreadsheets
  • Use of in-house CRM system
  • Assist, when necessary, with various new client risk assessments/AML documentation
  • Liaise with colleague for engagement letters to be issued by them
  • To ensure risk management is incorporated within day-to-day responsibilities
  • On-boarding of new contracts and annual reviews
  • Ad hoc administration to support the compliance department
  • Requirements:

  • Previous compliance-based work
  • Knowledge of AML and KYC and compliance is very important
  • Approach to come in and hit the ground running
  • MUST have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Highly organised with ability to manage and prioritise own workload, identifying urgent matters
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in order to co-ordinate tasks
  • Willingness to support with all aspects of the compliance department
  • Team player, personable and willing to muck in
