An excellent Primary School located in East London are keen to appoint two Teaching Assistants with Autism and ADHD experience and preferably Pupil referral unit experience. It is a long-term post with excellent benefits! Are you confident working with challenging behaviour? The school is looking for someone to work within their Special Needs department, working on a 1:1 basis with a child diagnosed with mild autism and a child with ADHD. Pupils that require additional support, receive excellent support. Their needs are well understood and effectively met. Hays are supporting the school to find someone who will be an asset to the school, to keep the same standards.RequirementsA Level 2/3 NVQ or NCFE CACHE Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification.It is essential that they have experience providing specialist support to children with SEN and preferably 1:1 support with children who have moderate to severe behavioural difficulties.
