As a flexible Export Controller, you will contribute to the evolution of the company’s business culture and approach toward compliance with all local and international laws and regulations. You will also help to understand the importance of export control and mitigate any potential exposure. In your first few weeks in this Export Controller role, you can expect to: Ensure compliance with licenses and other export requirements, laws and regulations, and end-use and regulatory reporting obligations within the Filton plant manufacturing facility Request and support export licenses, preliminary inquiries or special procedures under the UK, European and US export control laws, including monitoring and legal reporting Support audits (internal and external) on the premises of the company Work with the Filton team to understand and map the current data exchanges and supporting software and storage infrastructure Support the preparation and coordination of any training at the Filton siteTo apply for this export control job, you will need to be able to be security cleared to a UK SC level with Export Control. You will also require knowledge of the UK aerospace industrial export environment and should be university educated. In addition, you will need a working knowledge of Microsoft, Google Suite and SAP, along with engineering knowledge and logistics experience or legalities of control. Previous experience within a military environment is also essential as you need expertise in a controlled environment and restrictions knowledge.
