Teacher of Music required for Good rated Ofsted school based in Ormskirk from January 2023, long-term Your new company Hays Education are working bon behalf of an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school based in Ormskirk who are seeking a Teacher of Music to join their department from January 2023 on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year. With a vacancy in the school, this position has the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. The school based in Ormskirk is easily accessible off the M58 with excellent modern facilities on site. The school is innovative and always looking at different ways in which to improve. Whilst this is a full-time role, the school are willing to consider those interested in part-time work. Your new role As a Music Teacher you will be working closely with children teaching them how to play specific instruments and being able to read music. There will be a variety of instruments including piano, violins, guitars and many more. Students should be able to confidently play the instruments. You will be enhancing the students imagination and knowledge in music allowing them to appreciate all kinds of music. You will also need to help students prepare and perform in exams and competitions confidently by always assessing their work and ability and providing good feedback following it. What you’ll need to succeed The successful candidate will hold their QTS or QTLS and have previous experience teaching Music within a Secondary school. You will be hardworking with can-do attitude making the most from all you teach. The school are happy to consider NQT’ and ECT’.
