Are you from a Health and Safety background within an engineering environment, looking to play a pivotal role in an international market leader, offering an autonomous and varied role with fantastic training opportunities to boost your technical ability? This is an excellent opportunity to recognised as one of the key QHSE advisors in the company. You will have the chance to develop technically through detailed internal and external training, while working for a rapidly expanding business and gaining priceless experience working with their blue chip clients. This company have seen rapid expansion over the last 12 months and have been established for over 30 years. As such, they are looking for a QHSE Advisor to step up into a technical specialists role. On offer is a varied role where you will be predominantly office based with occasional travel to client sites for audit, inspection and accident purposes. You will also be responsible for SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) development, providing training, overseeing management systems and working closely with senior members of the team. This role would suit a Health and Safety/ QHSE advisor from an engineering background, looking for a role with a rapidly expanding company that are looking to provide a varied and technical role with detailed training.
The Role: *Permanently office based QHSE work but you will also be responsible for inspections and audits for multiple sites within the UK. *Overseeing management systems, conducting training, accident investigation (rare), auditing, assisting with tender processes, presenting QHSE matters to the Management team, assisting facilities management functions etc. *Internal and external training provided
The Candidate: *Experience in Health and Safety/ QHSE within an engineering environment *NEBOSH General Certificate, or similar *Happy to travel UK wide if required
