About the role
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our exciting and expanding business.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced QA, with a background in digital development, who will perform testing across our websites.
Who you are
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance including both digital and API testing
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with automated testing framework such as Selenium
- Experience writing Codecept.js or equivalent tool
- Experience with Jira or other bug tracking tools
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
- Any prior knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud would be very advantageous
What you’ll be doing
- Review requirements, specifications and UX designs to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
- Perform cross browser and device testing.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Work in an agile environment with short release cycles.
- Collaborate with the team to complete work within the allocated time.
- Perform exploratory testing across the application.
- Taking an active role in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-up, planning and retrospectives.
- Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
