We are seeking an ambitious individual who is comfortable working collaboratively with others but also managing their own time and work schedule. We need someone who can troubleshoot complex problems, provide efficient solutions, and communicate with a clear and engaging style.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the 1st/2nd line IT Support functions, IT Documentation, and data backup procedures, as well as assisting in various Group wide projects and tasks.

Duties and responsibilities

  • 1st/2nd Line IT Support – Point of contact for IT incidents.
  • Managing Helpdesk system and tickets, fault resolution and maintaining a quality service level
  • Administration of Cloud based systems (Microsoft/Cisco Meraki)
  • Data Backups – ensuring daily backup routines have been completed successfully and maintaining regular backup integrity checks.
  • Maintain the IT Asset list
  • Hardware procurement & managing supplier relationships.
  • Ensure IT Documentation is updated and maintained in the IT Knowledge Base
  • Participate in Projects
  • Provide support to Production IT Team
  • Keeping up to date with technical and Industry development
  • Key Competencies/Skills

  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT trends
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud technologies – M365/Azure
  • Working knowledge of IP based Networks
  • knowledge of latest hardware and software
  • Ability to work well with people
  • Strong communications skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Willingness to sometimes work unsociable hours
  • Enthusiasm for continual learning
  • Clean UK Driving License
