A growing, international business based in Wantage are looking for a Network Engineer to join their team, offering up to £65,000 depending on experience. This is a great opportunity to take the lead on exciting network projects, defining future network strategy for a global business!

The Role

As Network Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • overseeing and monitoring the global IT network, covering WAN, LAN, and Wi-Fi
  • leading a project to define and implement the future network strategy for the business
  • identifying areas of weakness, continuous improvement and proactively remove risks
  • performing regular operational service reviews with 3rd parties
  • network contract management

    • About you

    Applicants for the Network Engineer role will have:

  • a technical background of working with enterprise level networks (LAN/WAN)
  • network vendor/3rd party management experience
  • a strong understanding of internet and routing (IP, Ethernet etc.) and knowledge of MPLS or SD WAN
  • excellent troubleshooting and solutioning skills
  • Cloud networking skills/keen interest
