A flexible person is required to perform a range of cleansing duties to help keep Gravesend Town Centre rubbish and litter free. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to quality and ensure the Town Centre is maintained to a high standard.
You will be working 40 hours a week over four days on a rota which will include working weekends and bank holidays.
Applicants must have a full British manual driving licence, be able to work independently or as part of a team, have an ability to prioritise tasks and good communication skills.
You must be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions.
Main responsibilities
Undertake a range of specialist tasks including:
Emptying litter/dog bins
Removal of bulky items
Delivery/collection of clinical waste
Litter picking
Manually sweep spillage etc
Essential qualifications/experience-
Full Clean Driving Licence
To have a knowledge of the borough
To be able to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to prioritise tasks
Good communication skills
Desirable qualifications/experience-
Up to date Driver CPC card
Previous experience in this field
Full clean driving licence with C1 category
Experience of manual outdoor work
