Field Service Technician (Safe Systems Installer/ operative)

£23,000 – £25,000 + Massive OTE + Stay away earnings + Pension + Training from experts.(Must be from Stoke-on-Trent with work based mainly in London and wider UK with regular overnight stays required)

In this role you will work in the compliance division, responsible for the installation and testing of permanent access equipment, such as; access ladders, fall restraint and arrest systems, fixed and freestanding handrail systems, aluminium walkway systems and suspended access equipment, including abseil anchors and rail. You will make a positive impact by keeping people safe within the workplace.

This will suit someone that takes pride in delivering the best work and helping to maintain the company’s friendly and professional atmosphere. Somebody that has a go-getter attitude and is happy to work in all elements is essential. The company is highly respected by some blue chip clients such as John Lewis, Selfridges and Stella McCartney, so being able to maintain strong relationships is also important.

The role:

  • Travelling to destinations across the UK, with regular Overnight stays
  • Ability to follow and comply with strict safe working practices
  • Deal with clients face to face on site, reflecting the company’s professional values
  • Follow job instructions, method statements and risk assessments
  • Full training will be available

The person:

  • Full clean driving license
  • Good communication and organisation skills
  • A positive approach to working away and in all weather conditions
  • Practical orientation with an ability to complete technical tests on access and safety equipment (training given)
  • Experience within the Work at Height Industry
  • Experience with the installation/ testing of fall arrest products; Access Ladders, Safety Lines, Abseil Posts, Eyebolts etc
