About the role

With your passion to get things done/ fixed/ replaced/ repaired right first time you’ll enjoy a varied and exciting role, providing full IT desktop support to our Execs.

Your technical diagnosis skills and ability to communicate (at an appropriate senior customer and technical level) will be critical to delivering extraordinary support experiences.

We support a variety of software technologies, with no shortage of challenges to get stuck into every day. And wider there’ll be opportunities to provide Technical support to Executive events, either off-site or at various London offices.

We work a standard day but cover the business from 07:00 to 21:00 Mon-Fri (and occasional weekends to deliver key business changes). You’d be based in Gresham St, London but occasionally help in other London locations as the need arises. There is some flexibility to work from home on occasion.

About you

  • You’ll be well presented with experience of providing IT/ AV support to Senior Leaders, ideally in the financial sector.

  • You’ll naturally interact authoritatively with colleagues of all levels and can communicate adeptly while successfully building relationships across the business.

  • And you’ll be able to work unsupervised, using your problem solving skills, and prioritising your workload to meet certain SLAs.

  • Specifically we’re looking for you to adeptly complete moves and change requests and show the flexibility we need to support out of hours support across our London sites.

What we need skills wise:

  • Strong knowledge (including solving issues) of Windows 10 and the Office 365 Suite

  • Experience of handling Incidents and Requests on tools such as Service Now

  • Competent in using and supporting Microsoft Teams

  • Support of mobile technologies and BYOD using the O365 suite.

  • Experience of resolving remote connection issues and training business users how to use the remote technologies

  • Familiar with building, configuring and resolving issues with desktops and laptops

  • Competent in supporting Cisco IPT equipment

  • Good knowledge of meeting room support using various equipment from multiple vendors

  • Network problem solving and patching/ cabling

And any wider understanding of these would be highly desirable:

  • Industry software Bloomberg, Reuters, etc and problem-solving these

  • Experience of setting up and operating PA systems

  • Active Directory and Exchange administration knowledge

  • Understanding of Azure and Intune
