Salary & Benefits: The base salary banding for this role is £57,048 – £79,274 in London and £48,784 to £66,140 outside of London plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution, 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.

The role of Cloud Operations Manager is responsible for the provision of business management support for Private Cloud. This will be achieved by implementing frameworks, standards and reporting tools developed within the service, ensuring consistency and efficient, effective working across all Private Cloud teams.

Specific activities which you’ll be responsible for include things like;

  • Working closely with the Senior Manager and HOF to help define and develop the specific deliverables needed to support Private Cloud

  • Delivery of a standardised reporting & MI suite. This will involve the creation, delivery and maintenance of a suite of management reports covering all key business management areas (finance, headcount, risk, control testing, policy compliance)

  • Management of Risk / Controls / Audit Actions / SNCs. You will have ownership of the tower’s risk and control portfolio, ensuring each risk is owned, prioritised, funded where required and has an appropriate and measurable remediation plan

  • Delivery of Cloud Operations Key Performance Indicators

  • Developing Private Cloud Operations through delivering a sequence of prioritised change improvements to capability, tooling and process for the private cloud tower

  • Implement strong governance and measure and drive-up compliance

What do we need to see from applicants?

  • Strong experience in IT process in particular around business operations and be aware of the processes and concepts of running IT as a business. In addition, they will be a strong people developer and able to support the development of high-performance teams

  • Experience or knowledge of performance measurement, contract and commercial management, service management and technology infrastructure management (including a broad knowledge of ITIL processes) and policy control testing and risk management
