London based role (please only apply if able to work in this location at least 1 day per week).

Salary & Benefits: £52,912 – £72,754 base salary, plus fantastic package including but not limited to; annual personal bonus, up to 15% employer pension contribution, 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays. Our Team

In Intelligent Automation we design, build, and operate the bank’s Chatbots, Data Science, NLP / NLG, and Robotics projects.

Come and join our Intelligent Automation team as Product Owner. We have roles available in several different product squads, so we can match you with a product based on your skills and experience. All the roles are London based, but we all split our time between working from home and the office.

Your responsibilities and day-to-day work will include:

  • Act as SME and point of contact for the digital product you manage.
  • Build the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for the product.
  • Balance short-term continuous value release with long-term vision/ ‘future-proofing’ the product.
  • Collaborate with other POs and partners across the business to understand business/ customer needs and translate into re-usable new product features that release maximum value across all users of the product.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to define metrics for success and demonstrate value of work delivered for product, business, and customers.
  • Engage and influence other teams and suppliers to support our outcomes.
  • Manage and mentor and support other POs (and team members) on product/ application delivery.
  • Evaluate and propose improvements to governance and control frameworks, operating models, ways of working etc.
  • Perform market and competitive analysis.
  • Drive required internal governance for all types of releases.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Product Owner experience in delivering digital products or platforms at scale using Agile/ Scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to quickly understand complex technical concepts and translate them into non-technical language.
  • Ability to influence without authority, working with technical and cross-functional teams who do not report into this role to get things done.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Desirable skills & experience

  • Experience working with Chatbot / Data / Robotics / NLP products is beneficial but not necessary.
