An exciting opportunity for passionate motivated nurses to join our fantastic Acute Medical team within Royal Alexandra Hospital has arisen.

Based in Ward 15 with 22 beds this short stay acute medical ward will require the successful candidate to work within a close multidisciplinary team and work collaboratively across the unit.

As part of the multidisciplinary team you will have responsibility for the assessment, implementation and evaluation of care needs with consideration to lifestyle, gender and cultural background and ensure involvement with the patient, family, carers and significant others.

The ability to work on your own initiative but also as part of an integrated team is required. You are required to demonstrate flexibility by working within a service.

Nursing is a strong visible directive in assuring care and setting standards with the patient at the centre of their care pathway. Nurses are invited who wish to develop and work within a forward thinking nursing environment.

You will be supported, encouraged and appreciated within your role. There will be opportunities for enhancing your skills, through additional training and development which we offer and encourage. This is supported by our Nurse Educator who will support you while you settle into your new environment.
