The Role

The electrical maintenance engineer will be responsible for all of the electrical duties on site. This includes: reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, fault finding (using drawings), reading schematics, PLC work.

Electrical components you will need to be familiar with are:

Sensors, motors, inverters, relays, contactors, panels, PLCS (Siemens/Allan Bradley) use of a multimeter.

You will also need to have an understanding of mechanical maintenance engineering and be comfortable with swapping components like for like. e.g gearboxes, belts, bearings.

The Candidate

To be successful in your application as an electrical maintenance engineer, you must have the following:

  • Recognised Level 3 Electrical Qualification
  • Experience working as an electrical maintenance engineer
  • Experience working within a factory based environment
  • Happy to work within a heavy industrial environment
  • Be commutable to Witton
  • Happy to work Days and nights
