We are currently recruiting for an Office Project Manager to work within Oil and Gas based near Bond Street but will be travelling between the new office based near St James. Hybrid model, hours 9-5.30pm Monday – Friday. Start asap for July for 3 months. Day rate £ – £.

The candidate will be working in the Office team and will report to the Office Manager. The candidate will be liaising with 3rd party contractors and office staff throughout the project so will need to have strong communication, organisation and people skills. They will also need to be mobile as the role requires regular attendance at both sites. Visit to the new site around 2 to 3 times a week. Following the office move, similar level of visits will be required to the existing premises to prepare vacating and handover of the site.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Working closely with contractors, the Office team and IT Manager to ensure successful completion of the project
  • Supervising the Fit-Out plan and cabling works to ensure they are proceeding as per the agreed specification and timeline.
  • Advise the Office and Finance Managers if interventions are required to manage any departure from timing or specifications.
  • Liaise with moving companies on equipment transfers and disposals
  • Communicate and manage staff transition from current to the new premises
  • Skills:

  • Ability to effectively manage priorities and work to tight deadlines
  • Flexible and mobile- able to work additional hours if required as the project accelerates

  • Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience of office management and ideally of having previously managed a similar move
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety and Workplace laws and regulations
  • Experience of having worked on a similar project is hugely desirable
