The Prince of Wales Townhouse in Hammersmith is looking for a Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our team!

The Prince of Wales Townhouse is situated 5 minutes from Hammersmith station. With 25 taps of craft beer, a tasty menu of BBQ food and burgers, 8 screens of live sport, a large indoor bar space, a heated and covered garden, and two Shuffleboard tables, The Prince of Wales is a destination pub for beer, sport and food! The pub also has nine boutique hotel rooms above.

Part of Big Smoke Brew and Pub Co., we pride ourselves on attention to detail, over-delivering on service and providing a friendly, inclusive pub experience for customers and staff alike. 

The role will involve cleaning the pub, bathrooms and restaurant areas, as well as the nine hotel rooms. This will include daily cleaning of all sinks, toilets and showers, vacuuming rooms, stairs and corridor areas, changing and remaking beds, restocking toiletries and hot drinks stations, removing waste and ensuring rooms are made up to a high standard before every new guest.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is punctual, reliable and trustworthy
  • Has previous experience of housekeeping and an understanding of quality and safe cleaning practices
  • Has a passion for their work. All rooms should be looking the best they can be, at all times. You will be responsible for cleaning the rooms after guests have left and during their stays
  • Is a good team player and works well with other members of our team – managers, chefs, bar staff
  • Wants to go the extra mile to ensure all guests have a great experience with us
  • Can speak English to a good level
