A senior HRBP is sought to join this well -established and recognised business located in Manchester supporting the Head of People Transformation. This is an 18 month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension.

This is an exciting time to join a forward thinking and recognised company. You will be providing the senior leadership team with comprehensive HR advice, guidance, support along with delivering business strategy and organisational change.

Reporting to the Head of People Transformation, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Implementation of the transformation people strategy/ER strategy
  • Supporting the head of transformation with the delivery of the people workstream activity ensuring milestones commitments are met.
  • Ensure effective communication within the managers, they are competent and confident in the application of HR policies and practice
  • Provide expect advice, guidance and support on all HR matters
  • Working with the ER team to deliver consultation activity
  • Coach and guide the leadership team in creation and review of role profiles ensuring HR policies / practises have been applied
  • Coach, guide and challenge the leadership team in development of the business case
  • Support the leadership and recruitment teams with the delivery recruitment and selection activities

YOU:

  • Experience of working in a senior HR role in a complex unionised environment .
  • Experience of working with Trade Unions (ideally) within the transport sector and be able to demonstrate an understanding of local and strategic ER.
  • Experience of working as part of / leading a team that has delivered significant change activity, preferably within a unionised environment
  • Experience in delivering organisational design activity
  • Experience of stakeholder management
  • Experience of working in a large, multi-site operation and the complexities this brings.
  • Experience of working in a matrix organisation.
  • Ability to influence and challenge at senior level
  • Ability to translate strategy into local plans
  • Project management qualification / experience is desirable
