The College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences is seeking to appoint a Research Administrator within its Central Office. 

This is an interesting and wide-ranging position providing administrative support to the academic staff working on their research projects. The support would include human resources, purchasing, finance, research ethics, conference/seminar support and arranging research visits. The role would liasie closely with the academic staff & their departments, the Research Support & Development Office (RSDO) and Research Finance as well as taking part in meetings tracking the progress of the research projects. 

The successful candidates would join an existing Research Office team providing post award research administration and training will be provided. They will provide support to different college committees & activities and will be expected to show initiative in developing & improving administrative systems. Applicants should have have previous administrative experience and preferably be familiar with university policies and processes.
