*Full time permanent – on field mobile working*
*£23,500 – £25,000*
We are working alongside a fantastic women’s refuge organisation who are recruiting for a Senior case worker.
You will be working for a women’s equality organisation which exists to eradicate violence against women and girls and to support survivors. They recognise that ending violence and abuse takes a whole society approach to social change, and it needs you to help them achieve this!
This is a full time position where you would need flexibility to work on call hours, weekend and bank holidays.

About the role
You will develop a specialist area of knowledge related to one or more support areas
You’ll act as a triage point for service users
To hold complex and diverse case loads
Provide specialist advice and guidance to external agencies
You’ll develop and deliver training for support staff related to areas of specialism
You will be Responsible for case management reviews
To ensure safety, support and recovery plans reflect the needs and wishes of the individuals accessing the support
Identify and assess the risks and needs of service users
You’ll be confident in Prioritising cases
You will support the empowerment of the client
To Work alongside multi agency partnerships
Help maintain confidential and accurate records
About you
You will have a thorough understanding of domestic violence
You will have a good knowledge of the civil and criminal justice system for victims of domestic abuse and their children
Understand child protection issues and how to respond effectively
You will have experience of working with vulnerable people
Good IT skills
You will hold a Safelives IDVA training certificate or a relevant degree or vocational qualification or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience
Excellent communication skills
You will be confident in dealing with crisis situations
You will have a flexible approach to working
You will be a driver and have access to your own car
