A fantastic opportunity has emerged to join one of our housing clients in Manchester as an HR Advsior!

This is a full-time, temporary post (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3 months +) and the successful candidate will be expected to have knowledge of/experience in:

  • Helping managers to develop their performance management skills by guiding and advising on the practical application of relevant policies and procedures.
  • Provide consistent support and advice to managers in employee relations matters, including managing sickness absence, performance management, disciplinaries, grievances and appeals.
  • Maintaining effective records to enable the production of appropriate Management Information.
  • Developing solutions or recommendations to meet business needs, in line with leading HR practice and HR policies and procedures.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including managers, employees, and the HR Management team, demonstrating professionalism and sound HR knowledge
  • Providing HR support on projects and change management initiatives as required.
  • Seeking legal advice and/or escalating concerns as required to ensure risks are understood and appropriate action is taken in a timely way to protect the business.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality HR advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders.
