Adecco Northumberland are delighted to support our client in a search for a Goods-In Administrator, due to incredible growth within the business – this position was created through growth.

Main purpose of role:

This role exists to support the Warehouse Manager in providing an efficient and effective warehouse administration function through ensuring best practice policies and procedures and instilling the ethos throughout the warehouse team.

Key tasks:

  • Manage the administration of order movement on computerised stock management system from picking through to shipping.
  • Produce all warehouse order documentation including pick waves, packing invoices and carrier tickets.
  • Administer product returns.
  • Stock control and administration.
  • Distribute carrier manifests and returns documentation to relevant departments in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with Product and Customer Care team in ensuring stock accuracy and excellent quality of service to internal and external customers.
  • Provide cover for colleagues during absence or busy times.
  • Relevant experience:

  • Evidence of holding a previous administrative role
  • Evidence of effective communication skills
  • Stock management software desirable
  • Previous warehouse and/or logistics experience desirable
