Credit Controller Job Vacancy in Leeds, England, UK
Adecco work with an incredible security company based in LS10 Leeds. They are looking for an experienced credit controller to join their finance team.
You will report directly to the Credit Control Manager and will utilise your previous credit control experience and excellent communication skills in liaising with our wider finance team, colleagues across our business, and external clients
Key responsibilities will include:-
Proactively contacting clients and internal contacts for prompt collection or resolution of aged queries
Driving cash flow and debtor day targets by strong portfolio management and relationship building
Working with relevant internal contacts, clients and the revenue team to achieve the firm’s KPI’s, and resolving customer receivable issues / disputes / claims
Posting cash receipts to the system on a daily basis
Allocation of cash to invoices
Propose write off of irrecoverable monies
Providing ad-hoc reporting as and when requested
Undertake account reconciliations as required
Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met as required
Send out monthly client statements/letters
Risk management, routinely running credit checks on our clients
This role requires a creative and energetic performer who excites and inspires others.
You will have proven experience applying credit and collections best practice to ensure consistent debt management and cash performance. Experience within Security would be ideal, but we can be flexible on this providing you can demonstrate previous success at reducing aged debts alongside excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Experience of working in a busy credit control dept
Ability to work under pressure on collection days
Familiar with accounts procedures, client ledgers, disbursements and office accounts
Possess a good understanding of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word & Outlook
High standard of numeracy, accuracy with attention to detail
The role is temp-perm
Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm 40hrs
£25, salary (£12ph)
