At Lookers, we’re looking for extraordinary people that share our passion for providing customers with an exceptional experience every time: we are offering an exciting, once in a life-time opportunity to join us as a Lookers Trainee Sales Executive where you will be representing one of our fantastic brands. We will provide you with our six months initial training to hone your customers service skills and support you to develop within the role. You’ll undertake our structured programme of blended learning – Jump Start, featuring tailored workshops and practical learning experiences in one of our dealerships.

As an industry, we are embarking on an exciting journey toward the electric revolution so we’ll give you comprehensive training for both existing and electric vehicles, ensuring you have a broad understanding of all vehicles and can fully support our customers with their purchasing decisions. This is an exciting time to join Lookers, and you’ll be right alongside us as we lead the charge toward electric vehicles!

We are looking for warm and enthusiastic individuals who have a positive mindset and are eager to learn everything there is to know about our business and products. You’ll be our customers’ first point of contact: making every interaction a positive one. We need someone who can build strong relationships with our customers and our colleagues, as well as confidently learn our IT systems and ensure compliance with our sales processes. Prior experience in a retail or hospitality setting would be advantageous. You do not need previous experience within the automotive industry, it’s your personality and willingness to learn that counts!

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to have a full UK driving licence.

We want you to get the most out of your learning during your six months training period, so we are offering; a generous basic salary of £25,000, access to our market leading benefits package that includes health and well being support.

Upon completion of the initial six months training, you will have the added benefit of earning commission on top of your basic salary. Being a customer facing role, you’ll be working on a rota basis along with the rest of the team, which will include weekends.

In order to join the programme, you need to be available to start with us on in the next month or so and be prepared to travel to our Head Office in Altrincham, Manchester for training. All Jump Start training associated travel costs including accommodation (if required) will be covered by the company.
