Application Manager South Yorkshire/Hybrid working

Role

Management of IT Applications and Services to meet the needs of the business, compliant to ICT Security and other Regulations and processes.

Main Activities

– Responsible for support and development of UK ERP and Asset Manageent systems. environment and other products

– Delivering broad-based IS/IT support for strategic applications and IT infrastructure within the engineering sectors of the business

– Providing 2nd line support for local IT applications.

– Liaise with 3rd party Supplier to monitor service deliveryFulfilling project manager and/or business analyst roles on local IS/IT projects.

– Assisting IT management with implementation of IT methodologies, processes and standards.

Expected Competencies and Experience

Educated to degree level or equivalent.

Proven application support experience using formal methods such as ITIL for incident management, change management etc

Proven experience of business analysis and project management.

Experience of working with Corporate IT systems.

Ability to work under pressure.

Strong team-working and customer service ethic.

Proven ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing particularly with internal business users and external vendors

Appetite to research, learn and develop skillsExperience of working with recognised methodologies.
