We have an exciting opportunity for a Hard Services Manager here at Lookers. As part of the recently formed Estates Services Team this role is to provide an asset maintenance and management service for c180 properties for the protection of Group risks and asset longevity. The role is to ensure the sites are well maintained, statutorily compliant and energy efficient in line with company policy.

The role encompasses managing and monitoring the compliant delivery of planned maintenance activity logging and managing reactive call outs to high volumes of diverse technical building issues, managing Work in Progress in line with agreed Service Level Agreements and budgets.

Some of the key areas the post holder will get involved in are;

Planned and reactive maintenance, additional works and installations including lifecycle refresh

Ensure that services are delivered to agreed timescales, service requirements, scope and quality

Contractor and Health and Safety reporting

Ensure contractual commitments are met in accordance with KPI’s/SLA’s

Develop relationships with the Dealership operations, Property team and H&S business partners maintaining high levels of effective communication

Work with the Facilities Manager to keep abreast of new technology, innovation, and emerging new products.

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have a technical trades background in either mechanical or electrical services. They will have demonstratable service and contractor management for all hard services work. Specialist knowledge or experience in a broad range of Hard Services categories in a multi-site organisational set up for example, HVAC, BMS, Fabric, Lifts, Roller Shutter and Auto Doors.

Commercially aware, they will have experience setting and managing budgets, report writing, and additional and small works management. They will be an effective communicator across all levels of the business, with practical knowledge of software platforms and compliance auditing and processing of non-conformances.

IOSH or NEBOSH, and membership of BIFM or similar, is preferred.
